The deal
These terms are between you and Data Driven Partners, LLC, which runs AlwaysDoes (“AlwaysDoes,” “we”). Searching is free. Each contact you unlock costs one credit, and one credit costs $1.
Credits
- Free contacts: 3 for visitors without an account (per network, every 30 days), 33 when you create an account (once), and 333 after your first purchase (once per buyer, checked by the card you pay with). Free contacts have no cash value and can’t be refunded.
- Your first purchase can be a single contact for $1. After that, credits come in packs of 25, 100 or 500. They never expire.
- You can buy up to 1,000 contacts per calendar month. The limit resets on the 1st.
- If you refund the purchase that earned your 333, any of those 333 you haven’t used are removed.
- Partner codes: a new account that signs up with a partner’s code gets 333 free contacts after a $0 card check, instead of the 3/33/333 ladder. One 333 bonus per card, of any kind. The partner program’s own rules are at alwaysdoes.com/partners.
- Unused credits are refundable on request. Email hello@alwaysdoes.com.
- Credits spent on contacts you’ve received are not refundable, except under our bounce policy.
- Bounce policy: if an email you unlocked hard-bounces within 30 days, report it in My contacts and the credit comes back right away, once per contact. Reports above 20% of your last 30 days of unlocks go to a person for review.
- Re-downloading a contact you already unlocked is free.
How you may use contacts
- Only for business-to-business outreach by your own business.
- Don’t resell, share, publish or give contacts to anyone else, including through a list, tool or service.
- Don’t use contacts to decide anyone’s eligibility for credit, employment, insurance, housing or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Follow the CAN-SPAM Act and every other law that applies to your outreach: honest sender and subject lines, your postal address, a working unsubscribe, and opt-outs honored within 10 business days.
- If we tell you a person asked to be deleted, delete their contact from your systems.
Accuracy
We score every email for bounce risk and label the risky ones, but people change jobs. Contacts are provided as is, without a promise that every one is current.
Your account
Keep your sign-in email secure. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or scrape the site, and refund any unused credits when we do.
Liability
[Limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law (California), venue and dispute terms — to be written by counsel.]
